His Majesty King Charles III

The King visited the Ukrainian Welcome Centre on the 30th of November 2022, and was greeted traditionally with bread and salt. He was also presented with an icon featuring the Blessed Theotokos (Mother of God) of Eleousa (Tenderness), a gift from His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska

The First Lady of Ukraine visited the Centre with the King on the 30th of November 2022. Director Marchenko noted that the Ukrainians at the Centre were "especially excited about seeing the First Lady of Ukraine here".

Gen Nakatani, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan

His visit took place on the 11th of July 2023, the Special Advisor lit a candle in the Cathedral to show his solidarity with Ukrainians who had been defending their country against Russia’s armed forces for more than 500 days.
