The King visited the Ukrainian Welcome Centre on the 30th of November 2022, and was greeted traditionally with bread and salt. He was also presented with an icon featuring the Blessed Theotokos (Mother of God) of Eleousa (Tenderness), a gift from His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. The First Lady of Ukraine visited the Centre with the King on the 30th of November 2022. Director Marchenko noted that the Ukrainians at the Centre were "especially excited about seeing the First Lady of Ukraine here".

Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and current Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi. The visit took place on the 9th of August 2024.

Former MP of Cities of London and Westminster Nickie Aiken. She has visited the Centre on two occaisions.

Former MP for Kensington Felicity Buchan. She visited on the 30th of August 2023.

Her visit took place on the 2nd of December 2022, where she gave her assurance that "The United Kingdom is a great friend of Ukraine, and always will be."

They visited on the 19th of November 2024, to commemorate 1,000 days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Their visit to the Centre took place on the 21st of June 2023 in order to commemorate World Refugee Day. The theme for 2023 was “Hope away from home”. (Photos by Marcin Mazur)

His visit took place on the 11th of July 2023, the Special Advisor lit a candle in the Cathedral to show his solidarity with Ukrainians who had been defending their country against Russia’s armed forces for more than 500 days.
